UPDATED:  NWFWMD To Re-Open All Field Offices; Recreation Sites Remain Closed Due to Weather

HAVANA –The Northwest Florida Water Management District has re-opened its Crestview and Milton field offices today.
Due to high water levels resulting from recent heavy rain conditions in the western Panhandle, the District asks the public to avoid accessing recreation sites along the Perdido, Escambia and Choctawhatchee rivers and Econfina and Holmes creeks. The District’s Pitt Springs Recreation Area and Econfina Creek Canoe Launch along Highway 20 in Bay County remain closed until further notice.

Please visit the District’s website at nwfwp.sgssys.info, or follow us on twitter.com/nwfwmd and facebook.com/nwfwater for updates.
