Operation Outdoor Freedom Hunting and Fishing Events

The Northwest Florida Water Management District proudly partners with the Florida Forest Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission hosting Operation Outdoor Freedom hunting and fishing events for Florida’s disabled Veterans and Purple Heart recipients.

Led by the Florida Forest Service, the Operation Outdoor Freedom Programs provide recreational and rehabilitative opportunities to wounded veterans on state and private lands throughout Florida at no cost to the veterans.

Since its inception in 2009, the Operation Outdoor Freedom Program has hosted more than 500 events and served thousands of wounded veterans.

Veterans who are interested in participating in these events must register through the Florida Forest Service website at the following link: https://www.fdacs.gov/Forest-Wildfire/Our-Forests/State-Forests/State-Forest-Recreation/Operation-Outdoor-Freedom?original_host=www.operationoutdoorfreedom.com/
