Availability of Water Project Funding
The Northwest Florida Water Management District announces the anticipated availability of funding to help communities across northwest Florida plan for and implement springs restoration and alternative water supply projects. Projects recommended for award will be subject to approval of state and District FY 2025-2026 budgets and approval by the District’s Governing Board and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
How to Apply for FY 2025-2026 Water Project Funding
Applicants may submit an eligible project by downloading the Application Form.

All applications and project proposals are due by Friday, February 21, 2025.

Pilot Distributed Wastewater Grant Program
The application cycle closed December 5, 2023. Applications are under review and funding recommendations are planned for the February 2024 Governing Bord meeting.
Springs Restoration and Protection
The District supports springs restoration projects that include land acquisitions to protect springs and capital projects that protect the quality and quantity of water that flows to and from springs. For more information on the program, click here.
