The trail was established by the District and volunteers from local saddle clubs in order to designate around 45 miles of trails in the Econfina Water Management Area.
The connected trails are a visual delight for riders. The area contains as many as 50 lakes of various sizes (from one acre to 600 acres). More than 400 flora species have been identified in the area.
Riders are reminded to stay on marked trails and to avoid disturbing vegetation on slopes, lake shores, and stream banks.
