Overview
Located approximately 14 miles northwest of Youngstown, Longleaf Recreation Area is a primitive campground with access to Econfina Creek.
The most direct route to Longleaf is via Porter Pond Road, which is slightly west of the bridge at State Road 20 where it crosses Econfina Creek. Once on Porter Pond Road, travelers will see signage with arrows and mileage at each key intersection to help locate the recreation area.
Longleaf is located approximately 7 miles north of State Road 20.
Longleaf features a picnic table, fire ring, portable toilet, and a pedestal grill. Tent-only camping (no RVs) is available by reservation only.
Visitors to Longleaf can take a short walk for access to the Florida National Scenic Trail, which passes adjacent to the recreation site. Look for the orange markers to identify the Scenic Trail.
Four other recreation areas are just a short walk from Longleaf – Walsingham Park, Walsingham Camp, Seashell Recreation Area, and Devil’s Hole.

No ATV’s allowed.
